Training and support: Training

We provide 3 face-to-face INSET sessions as part of our 2-year subscription package. These sessions are designed in consultation with each school to reflect their particular needs.  Choose from a variety of flexible formats that reflect the demands on teachers' time and address the wider school community. Example sessions include:

  • Introduction to whole school staff
  • One-to-one 'hands-on' planning sessions for Department Heads to match resources to their subject areas during their PPA time
  • 45 minute briefings held in staff meetings to highlight Clipbank support for a particular initiative such as PLTS
  • Home learning workshops for students and parents

Since 2008, we have conducted nearly 800 training sessions all over the UK. 97.5% of responders to our training feedback form recommend our training.

Training and support: Technical support

We provide knowledgeable, responsive and friendly support. Freephone or email support are available all year round between 8.30am - 5.30pm. Our remote access tool saves teachers time by allowing us to take control of a desktop and show, in real time, how to resolve an issue.

For the optimal Clipbank experience, we recommend running the latest versions of Flash Player and Windows Media Player for Windows, and Flash Player and QuickTime for Mac OSX.

Clipbank’s 20 minute introductory web based seminars, with our award-winning training team, will provide you with a useful overview of the Clipbank service and demonstrate how to quickly find the resources you need.

This webinar is intended solely for Clipbank
customers or prospective customers.

Joining a webinar session

Here are the steps to a successful webinar session:

  1. Prior to the session start, ensure your computer has a stable broadband internet connection. For sound, use either speakers or headphones (recommended). Please also ensure web browser pop-ups are enabled.
  2. Login to the webinar session by clicking on the link sent to you in your Outlook reminder or reminder email. You can also click on the dates above (link will be live on the day of the seminar). Be sure to login at 3.45pm on the day of the webinar.
  3. Download the webinar software. You will be asked if you wish to download the Netviewer participant software. Click Yes to any questions regarding security/Java.
  4. Run the webinar software. Locate the file downloaded onto your computer and click it to run the software and enter the chosen session.

    You may find a 'downloads' pop-up window in your browser window with a link to the file. You will have the option to 'Run' the file from here to join the session.
